Description

Cap: 5-12cm chestnut brown. Slimy when wet, shiny when dry.

Stem: Large ring. Yellowish above the ring with ganular dots. Below the ring white but becoming brown with age.

Tubes: Yellow

Pores: Yellow but turning ochre with age.

Spores: Clay brown to ochre

Flesh: White

Habitat: On the ground with pine

Frequency: Common
