Description

Cap: size 4-9cm; colour red; shape convex at first, flattening later.

Gills: colour white; adnate; brittle.

Stem: length 5-8cm; width 1-2cm; colour white.

Spores: white.

Flesh: colour white; texture crumbly.

Habitat: found in coniferous wood growing solitaryor in small groups.

Frequency: common.
