Gills: colour white; gills join the stem to the full depth of the gill. Neither curving up to the cap or running down the stem." class="glossary_link" href="/mushrooms/glossary#adnate">adnate; brittle.

Stem: length 5-8cm; width 1-2cm; colour white.

Spores: white.

Flesh: colour white; texture crumbly.

Habitat: found in coniferous wood growing solitaryor in small groups.

Frequency: common.
